Challenger Crew, Mission 51L The Lower Hudson Valley Challenger Center foundation needs your help to further the educational endeavors of the crew of the Space Shuttle Challenger; flight 51-L. Our Learning Center is a living memorial to each of that flight's seven crewmembers, including Christa McAuliffe, America's first teacher-astronaut, who dreamed of using space as a classroom for our children.

The Lower Hudson Valley Challenger Center provides space-science education to area schools and the public. Our goal is to provide an exciting educational experience for children and adults. In order to accomplish that goal, we need your help.

How can you help the Challenger Center?

  1. ADOPT A CLASS AND GIVE THE GIFT OF INSPIRATION*
You can help make their dreams come true by sponsoring
a space mission simulation for a class of deserving students.

  2. BECOME A FRIEND
Of Our Challenger Learning Center Community.

Choose a level, join our team of contributors, and help
    make a difference.

  3. PAVE THE WAY
By Purchasing A Personalized Brick Paver.

Individuals, families, corporations, and schools can purchase an engraved brick paver as a gift, significant business achievement, or a memorial to a loved one. A brick paver might list a school, teacher, or individual's name, and can be engraved with a personalized message. Your brick paver will be placed at the Center's front entry where it will become a lasting acknowledgement of your generosity.
